Organic Comfrey Leaf Infused Oil

Locally grown here in Washington State, fresh comfrey leaves are hand-harvested, overnighted straight to our facility, and immediately infused into organic oils. This careful process captures the plant’s natural vitality and ensures you’re getting the freshest infusion possible. All our oils are infused for a minimum of one month to insure potency. This is a seasonal product, so when we’re out, we’re out!

A Plant with a Long Tradition

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) has been part of herbal traditions around the world for centuries. In folk herbalism, comfrey leaf was often included in topical salves and oils to support everyday skin and body care. Today, it continues to be a beloved plant in herbal communities for its reputation as a soothing, restorative herb.

Comfrey has a great reputation as a topical aid for stimulating cell growth in skin abrasions, broken bones, and injured cartilage or tendons. This is an excellent oil to use in massage, or in your own skin-healing salve creations!

This oil is not recommended for using on deep puncture wounds as it can cause healing of the surface skin, trapping harmful bacteria inside. However for superficial scratches, abrasions, and scrapes, it's terrific for speeding the process. Both the Comfrey leaf and root are used medicinally in different preparations. Internal use of Comfrey (or of infused oils in general) is not recommended. Always consult a qualified herbalist with any questions you may have when using herbs. Common sense is also highly encouraged!

Lifestyle Benefits

Our Comfrey Leaf Infused Oil is a versatile addition to any herbal cabinet. Many people like to:

  • Blend it into DIY salves and balms for their skincare rituals

  • Use it as a massage oil base to bring plant-powered nourishment to their routines

  • Incorporate it into homemade herbal remedies, pairing it with other infused oils or essential oils

Because it’s made simply and cleanly, it offers you endless possibilities to get creative with your own herbal projects.

Global Connection

Comfrey is native to Europe and parts of Asia but has become a well-loved plant worldwide. Its broad, green leaves and deep roots have made it a staple in herbal gardens across continents. By sourcing our comfrey leaf locally in Washington, we not only reduce our environmental footprint but also support regional farmers who share our passion for sustainable growing.
