A summer note from Emily...
Dear Friends,
Summer is one of my favorite times of year here at Em's Herbals. It's harvest season! The shop fills with fresh herbs, beautiful colors, and the excitement of transforming freshly harvested plants into the handcrafted products many of you enjoy throughout the year.
This week we've been busy preparing a beautiful harvest of locally harvested organic Mullein Flowers for our next batches of Pure Organic Mullein Flower Infused Oil. Traditionally, Mullein Flower Oil has been treasured for topical use to help soothe ear discomfort, calm irritated skin, and provide comforting support for sore muscles and joints. Every batch is slowly infused into Certified Organic Jojoba Oil to create a simple, nourishing herbal oil made the traditional way.
We're also pressing a fresh batch of our vibrant green Pure Organic Comfrey Leaf Infused Oil, made with fresh organic Comfrey leaves from a nearby farm. Comfrey has long been valued in herbal traditions for supporting the body's natural recovery after everyday bumps, bruises, overworked muscles, and skin irritation, making it a favorite for massage and topical herbal care.

And here's a little sneak peek... those same fresh organic Comfrey leaves are also becoming a brand-new batch of Pure Organic Comfrey Salve, which we expect to have ready by the end of July!
Thank you, as always, for supporting our little herbal shop. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and herb-filled summer!
With gratitude,
Emily 🌿

There’s something almost poetic about summer—the long light, the thick green air, the hum of life in every direction. And yes… that includes the insects.
For a limited time, our locally harvested Cottonwood Bud Salve is here! One of my favorite things about herbalism is how connected it keeps us to the seasons. Certain plants only offer themselves for a brief window each year, and when they do, it feels like receiving a gift.
Spring has fully arrived here, and everywhere we look the world is waking back up. Flowers are blooming, herbs are stretching toward the sun, and many of the local farms we work with are beginning their fresh seasonal harvests.
