Lemon Eucalyptus is noted for its strong insect repellent properties. Like other Eucalyptus oils, it has antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and expectorant properties, and can help relieve congestion and open the airway. Its citrusy, citronella-like fragrance is soothing and uplifting, and more pleasing to some than that of E. globulus. It's considered a top note for blending purposes.

Our essential oils are sold in amber glass bottles with a dropper orifice for drop-by-drop administration. Do not ingest essential oil from any variety of Eucalyptus. Essential oils should always be diluted in a carrier oil before being applied to the skin. (Some examples of carrier oils: Jojoba, Sunflower, Rosehip Seed, Castor, and Avocado; gently liquified Coconut Oil, Shea, or Cocoa Butter can also work for creating thicker body care products.) Always test the diluted essential oil on a small patch of skin before applying more widely.

Maximum recommended dilution for adults: 3-5% (three to five drops per teaspoon of carrier oil). May cause dermatitis in some sensitive people; should be avoided by those with hypertension or epilepsy. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with young children or pets.
