This Postpartum Sitz Bath tea is made for new mamas in mind who need extra special healing and attention to those tender areas after birth. Use one ounce of this tea per pint of water. Add herbs to the water and bring to a boil. Cover, turn off the heat and let steep for 30 minutes or longer. Strain well to ensure there is no plant material or particles in the liquid. Fill a bathtub up with enough water to comfortably cover the tender areas. Add the steeped and strained sitz bath decoction directly to a bath. Sit in the bath for 20 minutes or more twice per day for as many days as desired. We recommend three to five days of sitz bath after childbirth to help tighten up and aid healing for those tender and inflammed tissues.
