Blackberry leaf offers a gentle astringent effect that reduces hemorrhoids and suppresses matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) which cause wrinkles. When added to tea, Blackberry leaf aids in relieving diarrhea. When used as a poultice, blackberry leaf can help with wounds and bruises.
Blackberry leaf can also be found in herbal smoking blends and imparts a light berry flavor.
